Far northeast on Veon is a land formation that was conquered by man, and never to be revisited by outsiders again. This land is infamously called Minnjörð by the inhabitants - yet despite their presence, this continent is far beyond a comfortable place to thrive in. Creepers are forming colonies in the most unexpected areas, skeletons sneaking about to pickpocket your emeralds, wardens defending the entire underground, or the Elder lord of plague - the Wither - deciding that today is a good time to cause calamity on the surface.

WHAT IS MINNJÖRÐ?

Minnjörð is a Minecraft Bedrock resource pack and addon I began working on back in 2022, but had a long hiatus on due to game development and other interests. In 2026, I officially return to continue working on it, with an early access release on Github planned for this autumn! (Don't worry, I'll make a tutorial video on how to download it...)

It aims to reimagine the world of Minecraft into a dark, Scandinavian fantasy world with worldbuilding elements grounded in reality - realistic speculative biology, complex societies with cultures, and more. Each mob is given a brand new model, a distinct personality, and a set of fresh animations that help bring more life to the game. Some mobs will even have modified behavior! Creepers do.
